Annette Kägu

TFTAK, Estonia

Annette Kägu holds a master’s degree in Food Technology and Nutrition from Lund University, with experience spanning gluten quality standardization at Lantmännen and product development at Tetra Pak. She is currently a researcher and project manager at TFTAK, driving innovation at the intersection of food science and marine resources. Though new to the marine sector, she is actively building domain expertise through her work on the RoundGoby project, which explores sustainable upcycling of invasive fish species into value-added pet snacks. Collaborating with industrial partners, she is driving applied research into industrial feasibility and product development. As a young professional, she brings a fresh perspective, scientific rigor, and a strong appetite for cross-sector innovation.
