Tina Thesslund

NOFIMA, Norway

Research assistant with a master’s in biology with a focus on physiology and ecology. Tina works a lot with species usually “new” for the (Norwegian) industry; Whelk, Snow- and King Crab and lately also with the invasive Pink Salmon. My work mostly constitutes research questions around production biology, but also animal behavior related to catch and live holding. Tina is currently working with capture-based aquaculture of Red King Crabs and live storage of Snow Crabs and how fishing and transport practices influence further survival and quality.
