EUROFISH conducted a study on consumption of fish and seafood in Croatia. The objective of the study was to conduct a survey to estimate consumer habits and preferences regarding fish consumption in Croatia and obtain related information on supply and demand. The highlights of the survey included understanding the reasons for buying or not buying fisheries and aquaculture products, frequency of purchases, factors influencing consumption, and determining whether there is a preference for wild or farmed products, marine or freshwater products, and for product origin.
