FAO, EUROFISH and the General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean (GFCM) organised a regional workshop “Predicting the market for seabass and seabream”. The workshop addressed the Mediterranean and Black Sea aquaculture industry. The main topics of discussion were production and trade data availability, importance and challenges of sectorial planning of seabass and seabream production, trade and marketing issues related to seabass and seabream products, and fields of cooperation.
