On the request of the Norwegian Seafood Council, EUROFISH prepared an analysis of the Danish fisheries industry and market. The study investigates the current status and development of the Danish market for Norwegian fish species by looking at trade and processing of Norwegian fish and Danish consumption of Norwegian fish and shellfish. Danish imports, exports, and processing of fish such as salmon, trout, herring, cod and cold-water shrimp were studied, and developments in the Danish market for fish products from these species analysed.
