Marine lipid network

An EU co-funded project that focuses on improved utilisation and added value of fish by-products for human consumption. The project is coordinated by the Danish Technological Institute and all eleven partners are Danish entities, including fish processors.  The primary objective for the network was to work on different aspects such as improving the production processes, getting better quality products, understanding the market for these fats, and seeking new uses for them in the fields of nutrition, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics.
