This EU-funded 6th Framework Research Programmes project, co-ordinated by the Faculty of Life Sciences at the University of Copenhagen, developed new ways of combating existing and evolving pathogens throughout the food chain and studied ways to reduce the incidence of foodborne diseases in Europe.
EUROFISH was commissioned by the project coordinator to disseminate information about the project in a series of articles. The relevant articles were also published in the EUROFISH Magazine and appeared on the EUROFISH Magazine website, such as hygiene and technology, rapid detection methods, and the use of cultures to eliminate pathogens.
