EUROFISH conducted a study on the adaptations in supply of Norwegian fish products to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union and Ukraine after the introduction of the food embargo in Russia. The study was conducted for the Norwegian Seafood Council as a follow-up observation of the market, and it focused on trade developments in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. The analysis included changes in the trade flows and logistics, macroeconomic development in the region, impact on the fish processing sector, retail and consumer behaviour, main current challenges and outlook.
