Preparation of a manual for laboratory staff and a manual for fish inspectors in Georgia

On the request of the FAO, Assistant Representative for Georgia EUROFISH carried out the following:

• The manual “Design and implementation of a sanitary inspection regime for seafood” was prepared. Technical modifications (including a review of EU legislation), update and adaption of the existing “Manual/Handbook for the Execution of Sanitary Inspection of Fish Raw Material and Fish Products as Food for Human Consumption” to the Georgian situation were done. The manual was also proof-read and prepared as a ready-to-print version.

• The “Laboratory Quality Manual” was edited, technical lay-out created and designed. The manual was also proof-read and prepared as a ready-to-print version.
