The joint workshop targeted both Albanian and Montenegrin participation and provided the latest information on several topics, including updates on the bivalve market and consumption trends; requirements for export to the EU of fishery products, including bivalves; Codex Alimentarius Guidelines; specific regulations for live bivalve molluscs and implementation of sanitary surveys in the EU; biotoxins of concerns in the EU; HACCP principles and implementation in bivalve depuration; biotoxin monitoring and bivalve depuration practices; practical implementation of traceability.
