EUROFISH initiated a study on consumption of fish and seafood in Croatia. The objective of the study is to conduct a survey for estimation of consumer habits and preferences of fish consumption in Croatia, and obtain related information on supply, demand, availability and the way Croatians prefer to eat fisheries and aquaculture products. The highlights of the survey include understanding the reasons for buying or not buying fisheries and aquaculture products, frequency of purchases, factors influencing consumption and determine whether there is a preference for wild or farmed products, marine or freshwater products, and products origin.
