EUROFISH, FAO and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Serbia organized a regional workshop on “WTO, market access and fish trade” in Belgrade, Serbia with 56 participants from Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Montenegro, Republic of Moldova, The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine.
The workshop focused on post-harvest topics of special interest to countries in transition and advanced in terms of exporting to developed markets like the European Union, or countries in the process of accession to the EU. Topics and speakers were chosen specifically for the postharvest sector, processing and trade.
