Royal Greenland is reshaping its executive management team, with its finance director and sales director due to leave the Greenlandic seafood group at the end of August 2026. The changes follow the arrival of a new chief executive, who took up the position in late 2025 and has been reviewing the composition of the company’s senior leadership. Royal Greenland said the departures form part of the chief executive’s assessment of the management structure required for the company’s future development. It stressed that the decision is not related to the two executives’ performance, professional capabilities, integrity, or conduct.
Both departing directors have contributed to the group’s commercial and financial development. The sales function has also been involved in strengthening Royal Greenland’s global sales organisation and establishing a European shared service centre. The management changes come as the state-owned company continues to pursue operational improvements and strategic investments across its North Atlantic activities. Royal Greenland did not announce replacements for the two positions when presenting the leadership changes.
