WEFTA 2025 Conference Heads to Gdańsk, Poland

Abstract submission deadline is end of June

The 53rd WEFTA Conference will take place in Gdańsk, Poland, from 13–17 October 2025, hosted by the National Marine Fisheries Research Institute. Under the theme “Blue Bio Opportunities for Health and Value,” the event will explore innovation in the science of seafood and other aquatic organisms, with a focus on fisheries, aquaculture, processing issues, and consumer studies.

Held in the striking Conference Centre of the Museum of the Second World War, the event features keynote lectures, scientific presentations, a Gala Dinner, and optional excursions. Abstracts can be submitted until 30 June 2025 through the conference website: www.wefta2025.com.

Young scientists, seafood technologists, and industry professionals are warmly encouraged to attend and contribute.
